Good Afternoon!

It's been a while since I've been on here!

A lots been goin' on with us lately. We're all really excited for Summer and a few of us are finally graduating! Unfortunately, our Bass player and friend Bob Lamm will be leaving the band at the end of Summer to attend UCLA. But before that happens we've planned some pretty sick stuff.
June 21st, we'll be playing a guest acoustic set between bands at the Rock the Bubble Festival at the Canyon Club in Agoura.
Then, on July 2nd, we'll be playing a full electric set at the Canyon. This is gonna be a special night. As Bob's last show, and my Graduation party, we're hoping to blow the place out!
Also, we're hoping to get a 5 song EP out this summer with some new material on it!
It's gonna be a good summer.
How is everyone?
Love
Aaron

Rock City 4/10/09

So, first just let me say, holy shit.

Last night, the guys and I played this small hole in the wall venue called Rock City Studios in Camarillo California. For a few reasons I won't get into, I was a bit perturbed at the beginning of the night. We weren't on till 10, so we had 3 hours to do nothing. Me and the guys watched the first band Undergone(check them out!!!)who kicked ass! As a few more bands went on, we continued to warm up and right before our set, we had to have the infamous energy circle.

It had a been a slow night at Rock City, and I was really hoping our friends would show up. When we walked on stage to start setting up our gear, I had to double take a little bit, because the empty room that I'd just walked through 15 minutes earlier was now packed with all of our friends. Not gonna lie, I got pretty stoked when I saw everyone there.

I was surprised to see how many people actually were singing along, which was pretty cool. I think Ryan(Singer) spent more time singing in the crowd than he did on stage which was actually pretty sick. It all went fantastic, and might I add that the lovely Bree came out to see us! Thanks Bree! Between 2 songs, we called Rosalie up on stage. She got allll red and super embarrassed, which was funny. ;]

So overall, I think the set went pretty well, relatively mistake-less and very fun...even though Ryan decided to sing through my last solo of the set! >=[

Afterwards, we all went back to Ryan's. Within the hour, after a few episodes of That 70's Show, Tyler was out. Not soon after, I passed out right next to him. Going to bed at 3:00, waking up at 6:45, not too lovely.

I wish all you Buzznet people could have been there last night, it was a blast.

Love

Aaron

Hello Everyone,

So, we just got done playing a show at the lovely Canyon Club in Agoura Hills California. Let me say, we had a BLAST! So many of our friends showed up to support us and we're ecstatic about our turnout. We played 2 new songs titled "Drift Away" and "Prove Me Wrong" which went off pretty well! Check us out on youtube for live footage of the show!

Anyways, we've been contemplating the idea of merch for a while, and we need your help. We need a SICK design for our shirts. I know there are TONS of talented people on Buzznet so....HELP US OUT! We'd love to put one of your designs on our shirts and we'll send a free shirt to whoever's design we pick!

Can't wait to see em!

What makes our band tick

Hello friends, family, co-workers and random buzznet checkers!
Lately Countless Hours has been working harder than ever on writing new material for you guys, our fans, no, our FRIENDS! You are not just fans, you are our friends, that is why we play our music.  We just love to play, we dont care about money, we dont care about who we play with, we dont even care if you like us, because no matter what, we are gonna have fun, and do our best to make you happy, and to make sure that the music is 100% origional for you.  So what motivates Countless Hours to do what they do?

YOU DO!

we love to see you all at our shows, we love to see your screaming faces in the audience, we love to get your goofy comments on our myspace.  That is what its all about, you guys, and having fun with you.  Our shows are not meant to be just a "concert", its meant to be a fun experience that you can jump around and have a good time and hang out with us.

I have been writing alot of songs about the garbage that has been going down in my life lately, and as this show started creeping up closer and closer, my month kept getting better and better.  It just showed me how much I love playing music for my friends and family and with my friends.  The feeling I get on stage is indescribable, I feel like I'm alone, but some how standing right next to the entire audience looking up at me.  Its almost an outer body experience.

So i just want you all to know that we love you, and we wouldnt trade our fans for anything in the world.  My thanks goes out to all of you who show up to our concerts, to all of you who listen to our stuff on myspace, for all of you who tell your friends about us, for all of you who just love music.

So for all you cool cats out there, be ready, because we are making shirts soon, and we need a design, so please, give us ideas.  Also our CD will be packaged soon as well, so be ready for those as well.

AND
be at My Birthday Show on April Tenth at the Rock City Studio's in Camarillo!!
We are headlining, so we go on at 10.  Im turning 19, and id love to celebrate my birthday with all of you!!

Its gonna be a show with a huge surprise!

And also we will have a professional camera crew their, so wave to the camera!

We HOPE to see you at all of our shows, and we will always keep you posted with new stuff goin on in our lives!

~cheers

Attention all Soccer Moms, Old People, and others...

You SUCK at driving.

So today I was driving through Westlake Village, CA, home of a large population of young, very wealthy wives and mothers. I'm minding my own business, driving the speed limit, and just trying to get my sister to soccer practice on time. (My mom was seeing Jesse McCartney(LIEK OMGZ) with my sister, so I got stuck taking her)
I turn into a residential neighborhood where the park is when all of the sudden, some Barbie-Looking woman in a Black, Pimped out Range Rover speeds around the corner at about 50. This wouldn't have been a huge deal except for the fact that SHE WAS LOOKING IN THE BACK OF THE CAR! I freak out, honk at her, only for her to swerve about a foot away from my car.
Phone-in-hand, hand-at-ear, she throws up her one free hand, as if I was the bad guy for interrupting her phone call.

Still a little startled, I continue on my way, hop on the free way, and make my way home.
As I'm approaching a stoplight I see it's green, so I continue on my way when some very old gentleman in a Buick slowly pulls out in front of me. Now, I'm going about 45 at this time, and the last thing I was expecting was some dude to pull out in front of me at 5mph while he had a red. Thank god there wasn't a car in the lane next to me or that guy would have had my '96 Honda crammed right up his ass.

Not a good driving day for me.

Now hey, I'm not saying I dislike soccer moms or old people; I love my grandparents, and my mom's a soccer mom, but none of them can drive. All I'm saying is someone needs to raise the driving test requirements or something so we can get a few morons off the road. Obviously there are many exceptions to this rule, but I'm frustrated so I'm going to generalize.

Over The Hills And Far Away

Hey everybody this is Tyler.

So a little update on what we're doing. We've been working hard to write some new material and it seems we are starting to find our sound. At the moment we have two songs we are working on. Both of which I've spent hours on and am very excited about. One of them I think will bring a new sound to the table while the other is just plain catchy. We're trying to get these finished and down so we can rock them out at this upcoming show ( Canyon Club, March 26th, Be there!). Once finished we'll probably get back into the studio and record them, so all you lovely people can listen to them!

I also want to send big thanks out to all of you for the support and friendship you have given us. Remember, you the fans are the ones who make a band what they are!

Your friend and fellow rocker,

Tyler

Buzznet's the T&A

When Rosalie (xxrccola) first suggested we do Buzznet, I was kind of like, "blehhh not another site". I figured what the hell right?
I mean we've only had this profile like 2 weeks, but i gotta say, BUZZNET'S THE SHIT!

It's awesome to be a part of a community like this where everyone kicks ass and cares about music, instead of thousands of deadbeat skanks trying to become internet celebs. We're meeting lots of new people here and there hasn't been a single one that hasn't been awesome. I couldn't be more stoked about being able to experience Buzznet.

So drop us a line! We'd love to hear from you.
Me and Ryan are definitely gonna start doing some Vlogs(or as I prefer to call them, "Bloggeos") pretty soon which should be pretty cool. I'm pretty excited about that.

Love,
Aaron

Confused.

How exactly do we become an "official artist"?
Is it ABSOLUTELY necessary to have a label?

Help me out?

Who the hell are we?

Hello everyone,

This is Aaron from Countless Hours. I'm still trying to figure out this whole Buzznet thing figured out so bear with me. I'm sure a good 99% of you have absolutely no clue who we are, since I basically mega-added all our friends over the past 2 days. So in a nutshell, here's a little bit about us:

We're a five-piece alternative rock group from Southern California all under the age of 20. As far as influences and favorite bands go, we're all over the map with that. We're not into this because we want to look like badasses, or become famous, though I'd be lying to you if I said we'd pass up a record contract, but honestly, we just like playing music together. I think I can speak for all of us when I say there's no better feeling than playing a live show. Speaking of which, we just got off a pretty kick ass show at a local venue near us called the Canyon Club. We're going back in about a month and we couldn't be more stoked.

Right now we're writing some new tunes(which are turning out fantastic) and getting ready for our next couple of shows.

We're always down to chat about whatever, so if you're one of the people actually reading this, hit us up! We would love to hear from you and get to know you! I mean, who likes those bands that never respond? I sure as hell don't. And if you haven't already, take a listen to our songs! If it's not working for whatever reason, check us out on our myspace at www.myspace.com/countlesshoursmusic.

Tell your friends to come check us out!
Love,
Aaron
